We would do again.Nice vist. They are small, completely private (as in behind a closed heavy metal door) tiled pools. We didn't know what to expect but decided to check it out. The historic Roman Bath House on the north end of the park has 9 individual, 750-gallon walk-in tubs in private chambers available by the half hour. Visit top-rated & must-see attractions. People came with giant 5-gallon jugs and filled them. Like I said I'm no expert on such things but it was refreshing after being cooped up in the car, and also kind of neat that it's a state park. There are limited parking spots but, it's shaded & included with the spa visit.I've been goong here regularly for over ten years, but I believe my visits are numbered. My massage was done by Dale and he did an okay job, but for a one hour massage that costs upwards of 100 bucks, I expect the amenities to be a little greater. Nice get away with husbAmazing! Several good places to walk. Avoid town cabins and enjoy a cabin off route 9. I spent $27 for a half an hour alone in a hot spring Roman Bath. The price seemed a bit high but worth the experience. I get that it's historical and all, but it reminded me of a cross between a public restroom (like the rest stops you find along the highway on a long road trip) built in the 1950s and an elementary school. First time was in the Roman bath, it was very nice. And there are plenty of logoed items, postcards and more at various shops so visit them all. Great place to take the kids swimming in the springs, and to get spring water out of the fountain!We love this place! Four stars for the excellent massage, zero for the bath to average two stars.When a group of friends decided on a weekend getaway at a cabin in Berkeley Springs, one of the husbands in the group noted, "There's a spa in town."

The bath this time was lukewarm. So smart! In the old days you used to be able to heat up the water by adding your own hot water. I was immediately greeted with a smile and pleasantries when I walked into the door, they thoroughly explained the process and assisted us with the intake. They worked on needed muscle groups, massaged at the perfect depth/strength, and were beyond professional. The ladies of our group came here for Roman bath and massage treatment and we were very pleased with the experience! First of all let me say that the massage is always excellent. Call ahead for reservations for a soak & massage. Over the weekend I tried a spa on Congress St after an argument with the manager at the state park. View details, map and photos of this single family property with 3 bedrooms and 1 total baths. We left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed! This review is for just the bathhouse. Highly suggest for a nice, relaxing day!What a great public pool!

Since my first visit, they have put in a modern air system that sucks out the air constantly so one no longer gets as much of a "steam" experience and the windows no longer open. Simply lovely.My family and I live close by and we frequently visit here. Clean relaxing area. My grandson loved the fact that he got to see where George Washington's Bathtub dated 1748. Found nice coffee shop, library and yummy restaurants. Beautiful view of the mountainside the stream is a great place for the kids to wade and catch minnows.Amazing! Berkeley Springs is an historic spa and art-filled town nestled in the West Virginia mountains only 90 minutes from the Washington/Baltimore metro area.
