Temperature control for the room was responsive and easy to control. Pros: Staff were overall very welcoming and accommodating. This was the best anniversary we ever had. Soundproofing for our room wasn’t the best. Find your own cove and discover the lake in solitude. We'd take it home and share with family!! We tried to use the pool area but they have like 20 chairs for 50 people.
This was our first visit to Chateau on the Lake Branson (CLB).
The resort internet was so slow it was not worth the fee.
They did have a coffee shop open with ice cream, breakfast treats and sandwiches. The brownie was warm, but average; no better than a good packaged brownie. Please see our partners for more details.Branson's only AAA Four Diamond resort hotel, sits high upon a hill overlooking the pristine waters of Table Rock Lake. We called the front desk and maintenance had both issues fixed promptly.
The bed was comfortable and the partial lake view provided by the balcony was great for the morning cup of coffee provided by the in-room Keurig. Prime rib was painfully over done. I am told the buffet was excellent as well. The food selection and preparation were outstanding! The pool looks out on the lake as does the restaurant (indoor/outdoor seating) area.
Too cloudy so no sunset but food and service were very good.Staff did an awesome job of our birthday honoree! I wanted to eat what I could and leave. This was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving!!! We were seated in a corner table near a window on a frigid cold night. The food was nothing to write home about and was on the pricier side.
Steak was fair at best - NY strip was very tough and had zero flavor.

They very kindly brought a free, festive birthday dessert...but they only brought one instead of two and said we could only have one. Our 6,100 sq ft lodge offers towering views of Table Rock Lake, luxurious accommodations for 50, and a stunning four-story layout. Ordered the steak medium and it was closer to well done and tougher than expected. But no management ever contacted us or offered to clean the room. Highly recommend this beautiful place. We wanted to get away for the weekend from St. Louis. You’ll know you’re in for more than a typical room when you travel up the picturesque drive to the “Chateau” towering over the Ozarks countryside. But I do also like mashed potatoes:-) Might be a bit simple, but kids like that too:-) I'm happy they do the basic crème anglaise and do not make it with a lemon sauce or whiskey sauce! Sad to say, this trip was a disappointment.

The service was excellent and all of the food was very good.
While the menu was not very creative, the price points for a really good meal would not be a burden for the typical tourist budget. Cutting the beef was difficult, chewing was ever more difficult.
My husband informed him it was usually a Filet, served for two as the cut is usually a thick cut. Upon arrival we were given what tasted like a microwaved store bought chicken bite.
