The "high speed" internet they advertise is worse then dial up. It’s a little dated, but very clean and we loved being right on the beach.
Pros: It was quiet because of Covid I guess.
We had a terrace (although they tried to give me a balcony room initially) which was nice and convenient for the dog.
not ideal at all. It is quite pricey for a trip (about $400 a night) that doesn't include food.
The room was nice & the bed was comfortable.
There was no housekeeping until checkout due to Covid. Deerhurst Resort. We did see that a live trap was put outside our room and the chipmunk must have been captured. If you have kids, there’s lots to keep them busy & they’ll love it there. We were on the top floor, we could hear the vibrations of the roof top A/C units anytime they were running.
The disappointment came when sometime during the 1st night a chipmunk got into our room (not through the patio door which we made sure was closed), but our room door.
It's looking a bit run down inside the main pavilion so hopefully they get some injections to spruce up the place. 1-855-243-7104 Alternate 1.
Pool is large with a separate hot tub and wading pool. I called the front desk and the person who answered the phone was very friendly, and said that someone would be down to look at the door. The hotel was cozy and clean, all the staff at the front desk and the activity center were very helpful and nice. Visit this place annually for a conference. There were flies and a big spider in our suit. It was about $150 for dinner for two.

It was the first time I ever walked out of a restaurant! Took over an hour to get food at compass restaurant. Upon their return, they said the treatment was done in a makeshift room inside the locker/shower room with 2 massage table set up. I won a two-night stay here so we added an extra night to make a vacation of it.
The one thing that disappointed me was the snowshoeing under the stars.
Contact Number of Deerhurst Resort The contact number of Deerhurst Resort is (855)-461-4393, 1-800-461-6522, 705-789-6411 . Rooms are big but dated. The rooms were cleaned well but it did take the maids a while to reach our room which was a little frustrating because we wanted to rest up after all of our morning activities.
I got the fish & chips. With all of the competition from other places and Airbnb's it's a miracle how much this place charges and how poorly kept it is. The appetizer had none of the components listed on the menu and we were told it was a typo.
The food was mostly awful and very overpriced. no ladle, grater).
Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only. check in was curb side, anyone that we came in contact with had a mask. Beer is around $9 at Maple Pub/food truck and mostly Muskoka Brewery. That's about where it ends. Long story short the chef was trying to pass off seafood sauce on shrimp at $14. Food is good but expensive. 1235 Deerhurst Dr, Huntsville, Ontario P1H 2E8 Canada1235 Deerhurst Dr, Huntsville, Ontario P1H 2E8 CanadaMy husband and I had booked dinner at the Eclipse restaurant.
Service is quite good for a 4 star hotel as posted on TripAdvisor but it's more like 3.5 given age and care of the place.
The floor, lockers and general state of the pool change rooms were disgusting. all very pleasant and friendly. The next day Sam Goldring and Lisa again excelled in their service. TBC.
the beach was good, people tried to space out as much as possible.
