Partners follows the lives of two, Rural North Carolina, uniformed police Officers in a small southern town; Officer John Walker and Officer Mandy Kain. With Vanessa Angel, Glen Chin, Johnny Dark, Jackie Debatin. With Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, Salma Hayek, Karan Soni. It is not set in a big city with a lot of car crashes, chases, etc. Both middle aged and veterans of the department; the story, told in five separate segments, will focus more on how the two officers handle both the job and their personal lives. The film follows each one and shows what their motivations are for running in the games. Leads, Darren W. Conrad and Candace Blanchard are honestly brilliant for their characters. The film is basically meant to show a different side of police officers and what they deal with in their personal lives. There are places in the film where the sound is not 100% perfect; but in no means is poor for a film made for video. I think that John Hurt and Ryan O'Neil deserved to be shown better than they were shown in "Partners."

A straight police detective is unnerved when ordered to go undercover with a gay police clerk, as a couple, to solve a series of murders in the gay community. The misadventures of two young gay men, trying to find a place to be alone, one night in Manhattan. Four marathon runners (one from England, one from the U.S., a Czechoslovakian, and an Australian Aborigine) prepare to run in the Olympic games. After a series of murders in the gay community he is ordered to go undercover with a gay Police clerk named Kerwin (Sir John Hurt) as his partner. The story is very character driven and deals more with the personal side of each character and the friends and co-workers which surround them. A down on his luck engineer gets involved in an adventure with a mysterious woman and an emerald magnate.

Following the death of his father, an orphan is sent to live with his free-spirited aunt. Composer, Brad Hord, did a great job scoring each scene perfectly. With Alyson Hannigan, Adam Campbell, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge. Even harder than this is knowing that all the filmmakers and actors involved have regular lives and careers.
