In the sixth part it shows on all fronts. Thrives on extreme, ghastly gore as its primary motivation, making all other concerns secondary; in essence, it's more an endurance test than it is a movie. It's a perfect mixture of dramatic story elements, suspense and gore. For whatever reason i kept coming back.. The movie is bloodier than the first 5 movies. Was this review helpful? Coming back from the midnight viewing, I am seriously shocked. We are left with - How can we kill off as many characters as possible, make it as gross as possible, then make the story fit around it? Was this review helpful? Flashbacks from previous episodes, cheap effects (by the way worse than some of the TV series), weak performance by actors and the plot line that no longer can surprise you. Original Score: 1.5/4 I'd be there to watch the next one. It was an uncommonly warm autumn day in London on the afternoon of Friday 23rd of October 2009: the sun was out, the birds were tweeting, and in screen 3 of the Cineworld Fulham Road, a young woman was graphically hacking off her own arm to save her head from being mashed in by a skull-cracking harness. While watching the movie I found myself comparing it to the episode of ordinary TV show.

I walked into this movie with the lowest of expectations because I really wasn't satisfied or impressed by any of the sequels and I was not expecting to be impressed by this one either. After a solid but overall less convincing fifth installment, the sixth entry in the psychological horror franchise is a step in the right direction without reaching the quality of the first four movies. I remember this time last year writing a review for SAW V, and from first impressions, I enjoyed it. I've been broke for 2 days now.) You'll find answers on questions from SAW 3 and SAW 5, and also from the hole series (there is a question remaining about the medical care... and no, this don't have anything in common with Dr. Gordon - although he appears in a discussion only named by someone). Then i walked out of Saw 2 feeling empty.. like i had just watched a lame cash in sequel. The twisted imagination Jigsaw and his pupil lavish upon their engines of pain with thrills and chills.
