what a brilliant book, dont think this is anything like the rubbish film as it is a world away.

So I wouldn't call this an adaptation. If you have seen the movie, just know that this is not the same.

Really enjoyed this book basically because of what I wrote in the title! Pirates as you've never known them. That said, this is a terrific adventure.
