I’ve never really felt comfortable doing it. The best things stick around though. Something that has the potential to make a grown man weep. you don't hear from me for a long time that only means I'm still at I think Radiohead is a lot closer to my natural tendencies as a songwriter than a band like, um, Jethro Tull. I can remember the first time I ever saw The Cardiacs on tv playing Tarred and Feathered. They'd probably rather talk to their friend than listen to it, but people don't really have the album yet.
But then you have to throw in elements like nursery rhymes, sea shanties, sweet psychedelia, vast hymnal shout-alongs and the occasional, incongruously straightforward rock anthem. Midlake is an American folk rock band from Denton, Texas, formed in 1999. But instead of buying that particular album I buy a different album by the same band. It was just a good time for me, so it was nice to have a song that I can relate to it.
This way I don’t get burned and the artist gets paid. But the same rule applies that if I enjoy that album I must buy another one. I’m not really sure why. There is certainly the thought that it must dry up someday though, but I feel I still haven’t hit my potential.It’ll definitely be a step closer to what’s in my head, though other people may not hear a difference.

I don’t listen to much 80’s music (mostly 70’s) but while getting lost in youtube the other day I found their album called “The Blurred Crusade” and thought it was good, but still wasn’t sure I wanted to buy it. It seems a bit more slick than “Blurred Crusade” which I’m not digging as much but it’s still really too early to give an opinion.
