I was born and raised right here in the Miami Valley. We have two fabulous children.Before settling down in Dayton in 2002, my wife and I lived all over the country. What advice would you have for someone wanting to go into the business? More than 20 years later, my journalism journey has taken me on a path from Alabama to Alaska to Ohio, with career stops in Missouri, Kansas, North Carolina and Wisconsin along with way. I am a student pilot that still wants to finish flight training someday (it’s just really expensive!) I love to ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles, I’m a certified scuba diver and I used to sell cars! I was spinning records on the air at the school when the Xenia tornado happened! I guess I just liked Ohio too much to want to move 3,000 miles.

How might have someone described you in high school? in Communications. Where did you grow up? I was excited to work in the radio department, and wouldn’t have believed when I first started that by March I would be doing live newscasts on my own!
