Yum ped is a salad of deep-fried, rather than roasted, and looses a little moisture which would benefit the accompanying mango, cucumber and shallots, but the lime and chilli dressing pulls the dish together. We eat out a lot, and we have little time or patience for dining-out experiences that just make us wish we'd stayed home.
