Actually putting a "drainage" layer in the bottom isn't helpful and can actually make things worse. Place the plant pot on a saucer filled with rocks and keep water under the level of the rocks. I've picked off the two real dead looking leaves... but the others are still drooping.
Spider mites damage the plant by sucking its nutrients. If the soil is extremely dry, immerse potted plants in a large bucket or tub of water until the water absorbs into the soil, then allow the pot to drain. Its bright purple foliage with a velvety texture is the focal point of the plant, but it also blooms small orange flowers in winter if grown in high light conditions. Pruning the tips often encourages more branches and more color of the leaves for longer. The Passion vine leaves will appear more purple if given proper light. I just transplanted a small Purple Passion plant from it's Home Depot cheapo pot into a nice ceramic planter with some other new little plants. You should always prune with sizors and put similar plants together

Most plants, and certainly those pictured, like damp, not 'wet' feet. Purple passion plant stems are long, trailing and vine-like.Supplying your purple passion plant with too much or too little water can be harmful and cause wilting. With a little extra care, you can restore the life of your purple passion plant to its former glory.
I also mix fish gravle and small stones in with my potting soil. There isn't sufficient water to keep the cells rigid. Not soggy wet, but moist. If they are mainly green on the top, it would like more light. So I had a minor casualty... moving on! Wow you made those???? I'm a slightly better potter than I am gardener, and I had some unglazed things I wasn't going to use, so I smashed 'em into smaller pieces to put in the bottom of my poorly draining pot.
It would have been very helpful if you'd shortened the plants, removed some of the leaves, or cut them (leaves) all in half across the veins.
I think the conflicting info you're seeing on lighting for your plants is from some people talking about their light requirements if they're outdoors, and others for if they're indoors. If the problem is compact soil, mix in some sand or organic matter to improve the drainage. Spider mites are extremely tiny and sometimes leave webbing on the plant. If you've overwatered the plant and it looks wilted, don't water again until the soil feels dry at a depth of 1 inch. The other 2 plants care should be similiar I'm thinking. last post by Distntmrmaid
I am not sure what this dose but I havent killed any plants (that I have done this to) yet!! I didn't think to look here at DG for non-plant selling/trading... but lo and behold - there it is right on center top! Purple passion grows in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 10 to 12, and is often grown elsewhere as a houseplant.A healthy purple passion can reach up to 2 feet high and spread 4 feet wide, depending on the growing conditions. It's been almost a week and everyone's leaves are firm and healthy. The foliage may also display brown flecking.
Good luck! Plant the purple passion plant in a houseplant soil that offers good drainage, as the plant is susceptible to root rot from too much water. Discontinue spraying once the pests are gone.Shelley Marie has been writing professionally since 2008 for online marketing and informational websites. I tryed this once and the pot was full of mold. I'm thinking it's probably too much water also. Image source – Wikimedia commons. I was just looking for a ceramic classes here in MN. The soil should be evenly moist but not soggy. However the Dracaena's will get much bigger so eventually you will have to change it up. This will provide a humid... Use a plant mister to spray the plant lightly to keep it humid.
