Space Farms: Zoo & Museum

The kids love the zoo and it's nice they Can run around there. Tons of dust and just random old items. Who knows, maybe you'll even be joined by a friendly goose, llama or chicken during your walk around a few of our 100 acres. I finally went over with a student who was about to wet herself and basically pleaded to go to bathroom. The drive-thru experience is offered on Wednesdays, while the other days offer walk-through. The enclosures are only feet away from the patrons and you can buy corn or crackers to feed certain animals ( what zoo allows that?). 23 likes. Some predator animals are kept inside of a cage (with no stimulation habitats) and then the prey animals are kept along the outside of that predator cage with no place to hide. The staff was extremely friendly and $18 per person to get in is not a bad fee at all. I was hoping things had improved for the animals but I am afraid nothing has gotten better, only worse. The museum aspect of the zoo is pretty gross tho.

This is not how wild animals should be housed and kept, people! You can hand feed the deer corn and they follow you as you walk (they are fenced in a large area). We have been locked in quarantine for countless weeks; the bar may have been quite low but this was a place of pure joy! Could see the animals from the car. This place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and on the day I went, it was pretty chilly and no one was there so my boyfriend and I had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome! The pizza was delicious and quite large. They have everything here from reptiles to exotic avian species to large carnivores and everything in between . The place is very large and open, but has enough trees to escape the heat (it was a very hot day today) and has bathrooms throughout.

I feel like any zoo isn't truly humane so don't get why this place is any worse.
