The supporting characters too are all strongly written, with Miranda's lust for next door restaurant owner Gary and exasperation at posh friend Tilly, who still uses public school rhetoric as well as the always amusing 'bear with' catch phrase whenever distracted by her mobile phone. If ever there was a man who couldn't fool you that were a woman, the hairy, masculine Robin Williams is it. Bring Miranda to the States---we love her too! Its an all round family film, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good laugh. They both loved it (13 and 8 years old). The shows characters are great and enhance the comic genius of Miranda Hart. It won't work otherwise. All these years after seeing this film for the first time, I watched this DVD and still laughed and cried at Robin Williams as Mrs Doubtfire. I've watched the episode several times since then and always makes me laugh! I lough out loud nearly every minute when watching her. It's become a favourite in our house and a "go to"movie on those days when there's not much on television and you need a laugh. All miranda episodes are watchable - they are a bit obscure sometimes and she’s very goofy as a person/comedy actress but funny non the less Miranda, both the show and the actress, are delightful. Original Classic Comedy, what's not to love.
She is fantastic. This series really is "such fun!" Arrived quickly too I was a little unsure if it would be in English (American), but it is. Some very comical and also very poignant moments during the film as well as a reminder that divorce is painful for all involved.

I love the Miranda Gary storyline I hear there's only going to be two Christmas specials and that's the end of the show Noooooo but some shows do tend end at the 3rd series Little Britain being one. If you want a good belly laugh see this film. I love her interactions with her mother. But the boxset did not include series 3 which was re[placed by the Christmas special which is not what I ordered
