Surfside Jetty Park is a 15-acre day use beach park. Will stay at JETTY PARK again for sure!Great jetty. It was $15 for parking for non-county residents which was a little pricey (but a lot cheaper then the 2 $50 for the Kennedy Space Center). The waves can be surfable, but also gentle enough for a swim or float. We are within eye distance of the Space Center and a short walk away from Cocoa Beach, all inviting us to come check them out. It can get a bit crowded during summer month weekends but if you arrive earlier in the day, you can easily find a nice spot to set up. They have a store and food there as well. The jetty has created a very long and gentle wade into the ocean with incredibly soft sand.

Our resort overlooks the port where outrageously large cruise ships enter and leave. The South Jetty is in the City of Venice; the North Jetty is in Nokomis and under the jurisdiction of Sarasota County.

South Jetty Park. There are nice showers and clean bathrooms, campgrounds, and a nice playground. It combines a pier that it is nice to walk along.

The sand and water here is absolutely gorgeous and it's very clean, the white powdery sand is very fine and if you're pulling a wagon I'd recommend pneumatic tires unless you're okay with working hard. For Brevard residents, it's only $5 (shouldn't it count that I was a Brevard resident for 20+years?!). The atmosphere is just overall pleasant and relaxing. (There are no rules about riding a one-wheel as long as you stay in the speed limit. Nice wide beaches with clean, soft sand. Def. This facility has not yet been rated. Expansive play area.
